Before Gastro Creative, I spent over 30 years working in Catering Management and the pub trade, running and supporting hospitality businesses.
That experience shaped how I see marketing - practical, honest, and focused on what keeps real businesses running.

FROM HOSPITALITY TO
DIGITAL MARKETING
After years spent running and supporting hospitality businesses, I saw first-hand how much small businesses depend on enquiries, phone calls, and local reputation just to stay afloat.
I know how frustrating it can be to manage your own marketing whilst concentrating on getting customers through the door, or waiting for that phone call for a job, and investing in gimmicky marketing that sounds impressive but doesn't translate into actual work.
Small businesses don't need more marketing - they need marketing that works.
When I retrained in Digital Marketing, it quickly became clear that many small businesses were being pushed into over-complicated strategies, long contracts, and vague, and one-size fits all solutions that didn't reflect the day-to-day business life.
I started by offering services on Fiverr, working directly with small business owners who wanted practical help without inflated prices, jargon , or long committments.
By focusing on simple, honest advice - and delivering work that genuinely helped businesses get more visible online, I built up strong reviews and long-term client relationships.
That experience is what Gastro Creative is built on today.
